Dmitry was born in Belarus, an ancient Baltic intersection of European grace, Slavic innovation and surprising modernity and progressivism. His family placed high value on intellect and introduced Dmitry to fine arts, literature, music and dance from a very early age. Dmitry used to be a professional ballroom dancer who would design costumes for himself and his friends at a very early age and eventually decided to pursue fashion designing. At 18 he sought further growth and decided to move to New York City to pursue his dream to become a world famous fashion designer.
